Shudder From Monday 6th May. Dir: Fabrice du Welz. Starring: Laurent Lucas, Brigitte Lahaie, Gigi Coursigny.

Marc, a traveling entertainer, is on his way home for Christmas when his van breaks down in the middle of a jerkwater town with some strange inhabitants.

Dobermann (1997)

Shudder From Monday 6th May. Dir: Jan Kounen. Starring: Vincent Cassel, Tchéky Karyo, Monica Bellucci.

Dobermann is the world’s most ruthless bank robber and with his gang rob bank after bank, now in Paris. What can the police do but to let the mad, morally bankrupt police commissioner loose on him?

Mother’s Day (1980)

Shudder From Wednesday 8th May. Dir: Charles Kaufman. Starring: Tiana Pierce, Nancy Hendrickson, Deborah Luce.

Two brothers kidnap and brutalize three women for the pleasure of their demented mother.

Them: The Scare: Season 1

Amazon Prime From Monday 29th April. Creator: Little Marvin. Starring: Deborah Ayorinde, Ashley Thomas, Shahadi Wright Joseph.

This second entry in Amazon’s horror anthology centres on LAPD Homicide Detective Dawn Reeve, who is assigned to a new case: the gruesome murder of a foster home mother that has left even the most hardened detectives shaken. Navigating a tumultuous time in Los Angeles, with a city on the razor’s edge of chaos, Dawn is determined to stop the killer. All episodes arrive at once.

The Outwaters (2022)

Shudder From Wednesday 1st May. Dir: Robbie Banfitch. Starring: Robbie Banfitch, Angela Basolis, Scott Schamell.

Four travellers encounter menacing phenomena while camping in a remote stretch of the Mojave Desert.

Out Of Darkness (2022)

Now TV From Saturday 4th May. Dir: Andrew Cumming. Starring: Iola Evans, Arno Lüning, Rosebud Melarkey.

In the Old Stone Age, a disparate gang of early humans band together in search of a new land. But when they suspect a malevolent, mystical being is hunting them down, the clan are forced to confront a danger they never envisioned.

Monolith (2023)

Now TV From Sunday 5th May. Dir: Matt Vesely. Starring: Lily Sullivan, Ling Cooper Tang, Ansuya Nathan.

A headstrong journalist whose investigative podcast uncovers a strange artifact, an alien conspiracy, and the lies at the heart of her own story.

The Toxic Avenger (1984)

Shudder From Wednesday 1st May. Dirs: Michael Herz & Lloyd Kaufman. Starring: Andree Maranda, Mitch Cohen, Jennifer Babtist.

Tromaville has a monstrous new hero. The Toxic Avenger is born when meek mop boy Melvin falls into a vat of toxic waste. Now evildoers will have a lot to lose.

The Toxic Avenger Part II (1989)

Shudder From Wednesday 1st May. Dirs: Michael Herz & Lloyd Kaufman. Starring: Ron Fazio, John Altamura, Phoebe Legere.

The Toxic Avenger is tricked into traveling to Tokyo to search for his estranged father, leaving Tromaville open to complete domination by an evil corporation.

The Toxic Avenger Part III: The Last Temptation of Toxie (1989)

Shudder From Wednesday 1st May. Dirs: Michael Herz & Lloyd Kaufman. Starring: Ron Fazio, John Altamura, Phoebe Legere.

Toxie finds he has nothing to do as a superhero, as he has ridden his city of evil. He decides to go to work for a major corporation, which he discovers may be the evilest of all his adversaries.

Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV (2000)

Shudder From Wednesday 1st May. Dir: Lloyd Kaufman. Starring: David Mattey, Clyde Lewis, Heidi Sjursen.

The Toxic Avenger must defend his friends from his own evil alternate universe doppelgänger, The Noxious Offender.
